11 babies were born to drug-addicted mothers between January and September last year, according to information given in Parliament today.

One of the mothers was under 20 years old, another was between 20 and 24 and four were between 25 and 29 years of age.

The others were in their thirties, Health Minister Joseph Cassar said in reply to a parliamentary question by Labour MP Adrian Vassallo.
