‘Cartoons for Diversity’ submissions deadline
The deadline for submissions for the ‘Cartoons for Diversity’ competition is Friday.
Artists and students are asked to submit a maximum of five artworks in colour or monochrome to BPC International Limited, 50 J Gasan Street, Pietà.
The competition is part of an awareness campaign entitled ‘For Diversity; Against Discrimination’ launched by the European Commission. Cartoons should highlight in a positive manner one or more of the following aspects: racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age, sexual orientation and sex.
The artworks selected will be exhibited at St James Cavalier, Valletta, in February.
‘For Diversity; Against Discrimination’ is a pan-European information campaign run by the European Commission. It aims to inform people about their rights under EU anti-discrimination legislation and to promote the positive benefits of diversity.

Diversity promotes dischord. This is a proven fact. Obviously, the hidden higher ups have their own secret agendas for pushing this charade that has nothing but negative consequences anywhere it has been installed around the world. Who are these purveyors of evil? Scientific facts have proven that people are happiest and most productive amongst their own kind - in a community which shares common values and culture and not in a mis-mash of separate ideologies and culures each vieing with each other for supremacy.
I would love to submit my own cartoon, but I doubt it would be accepted by the organizers.
