Audit firm Spiteri Bailey & Co of Birkirkara has appointed Conrad Borg as its new partner. He joins the current two partners, William Spiteri Bailey and Karen Spiteri Bailey.

Mr Borg, who joined the firm as a senior audit manager in 2007, is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and of the Malta Institute of Accountants.

He obtained a Diploma in International Financial Reporting organised by the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants in 2006. His areas of specialisation are financial audits, financial reporting and the application of software that assists the firm to become increasingly paperless.

Mr Borg has also been a key player in the development of the firm’s internal practices and in the constant technical upkeep of the firm’s standards. Besides being in charge of various audits, Mr Borg is now in charge of audit quality assurance, technical updates and staff training.
