A 30-year-old woman and two boys from Pembroke were injured in a crash in St Andrews Road, St Andrews yesterday at about 7.45 p.m.

The accident occurred when two cars, a Nissan, driven by a 23-year-old man from Mosta, and a Maruti Jeep, driven by the woman, were going in opposite directions.

The two boys, aged 12 and 10 years, were passengers in the Maruti Jeep.

The police said the woman was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital suffering from injuries, which, however, were not life-threatening.

The boys were slightly injured and the driver of the Nissan escaped unhurt.

Two children were also among four persons injured in a head-on crash in William Harding Street, St Julians, on Wednesday.
