My wife and I were rather amused reading Karm Farrugia’s letter (January 3). I am sure his friend Sam and his family were not.

May I add something to Mr Farrugia’s comments. Perhaps it would be interesting the story Mr Farrugia told readers of The Times can be adapted in next year’s panto at the Manoel Theatre, not forgetting George Bernard Shaw.
