The marriage between Ramon, son of George and Pauline Schembri, of Fgura, and Karys, daughter of Joe and Antoinette Caruana, of Żabbar, took place at St Gregory church, Żejtun on December 13.

Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Eric Overend and Fr Mario Mangion. The ceremony was witnessed by the bride’s brother Kim and the groom’s brother Marco.

The duties of best man were carried out by the groom’s cousin Andrew Catania, while Andreana Boldarini and Lorna Grech Fonk were bridesmaids. The bride’s cousin Melanie Fenech was usher.

Matthew Caruana, the bride’s youngest brother, was ring bearer and Robin Kuehnemundt was pageboy.

A reception was later held at Ir-Razzett l-Antik 1743, Qormi. The couple are spending their honeymoon in the US, Canada and the UK.
