Volksbank Malta recently invited customers and business partners and their families to an evening of traditional Austrian Christmas songs. The event took place in the Salesian Theatre in Sliema, which was decorated to reflect the Christmas spirit.

The bank brought over five musicians from East Tyrol, Austria, to entertain the guests with a mixture of Christmas songs, played on guitars and trumpet.

The group of musicians is made up of two families from the small village of Matrei.

During the break, guests were treated to home-made Austrian Christmas sweets and a cup of freshly prepared mulled wine.
