Twenty young swimmers from Sirens ASC have just had a short, but intensive, training camp at the Malta FA pool in Ta’ Qali.
The swimmers were under the guidance of head coach Davina Mangion and her assistant Daniela Deguara.
In addition to exercises in the water, training sessions on land were also held.
The participants also had time to watch videos on basic swimming techniques, discussed nutrition in sport and took part in useful team-building activities.
During their stay at the complex, the Sirens team were assisted by the Malta FA administration staff, led by manager Nunzio Frendo.
The training camp was well received by the Sirens swimmers and the organisers are planning to make the activity an annual appointment in the club’s calendar.
