BALDACCHINO. On December 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, aged 51, of Żurrieq and residing at Attard, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Sally, his children Dorothy, Janice and her husband Joseph, Maurizio, Maryliz and Michele, his granddaughter Racquela, his parents Maria and Alfred, his sister Doris and brothers Michael and Emmanuel and his wife Grace, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3 p.m. for St Catherine parish church, Żurrieq, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. Attendees are kindly requested to bring a white flower as a symbol of his everlasting energy and short life. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CACHIA. On December 28, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, NADIA of Tarxien, residing at Sliema, aged 41, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her beloved dear ones. She leaves to mourn her great loss her mother Annie, her brothers Charles and his wife Simone and Joseph and his wife Alexia, her grandmother Anni, uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces, numerous relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St James Capua Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for the Annunciation parish church, Tarxien, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment at Tarxien cemetery. May God grant her eternal rest.

STEVENS. On December 27, at his residence, RICHARD WILLIAM (Dickie) of Rabat, aged 90, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Jessie, his son Raymond and his wife Filomena, Bertie, widower of his daughter Lilian, residing in England, his grandchildren Catherine and her husband Steve Chetcuti, Sandra and her husband Marshal Gardener, residing in France, his great-grandchild Jamie, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.30 p.m. for St Paul parish church, Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

STRINGOS. On December 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIE of Msida and residing in Pietà, aged 62, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Never forgotten and always loved by her husband Nikos, her children Inez, Evan and his wife Graziella, her grandsons Matthew and Samuel, her brothers and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for Our Lady of Fatima parish church, Pietà, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
