Norwegian authorities yesterday evacuated a railway station serving Oslo’s international airport after a bomb warning but flights were not affected.

“Notes saying there were explosives on the train were found. The train and the Gardermoen station near the airport were immediately evacuated,” Dag Svinsaas, a spok-esman for Norwegian railways, said.

Traffic was diverted from the station, about 30 kilometres northeast of Oslo, an airport spokesman said, adding that flights were however not affected.
