Fluorescent feather boas, skyscraper hairdos, giant spectacles and hairy legs – the panto dames have stumbled into The Times offices for another interview this year.

Adorned in matching red and yellow glitter outfits, Hallina (Toni Attard) and Fallina Blafloos (Edward Mercieca), the two ugly sisters from FM Productions Cinderella share their stories about their experiences with men and lack thereof with Veronica Stivala.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that a jewel shop threw up on Alan Montanaro’s character, the as yet anonymous dame from MADC’s Scrooge a Christmas panto. This dame speaks about her fear of the reformed buses losing their ricketyness and her own interpretation of Wikileaks.

FM Productions Cinderella will be performed at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta, from December 26 to January 9.

MADC’s Scrooge – A Christmas Panto will be on at the MFCC, Ta’ Qali from December 22 to January 9.
