As part of its Christmas programme of events, Viset will be holding Christmas Eve Mass in the old power station at the Valletta Waterfront at 8.30 p.m.

Other activities will include a Christmas procession on Tuesday from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. organised by the SDC Museum Mosta branch. The procession starts from the Valletta Waterfront promenade and will proceed to the Christmas Village in the old power station. Poetry and songs conveying the meaning of Christmas will feature throughout the procession.

On Thursday at 6 p.m. there will be a ‘Santa on Sleigh’ Christmas parade during which Father Christmas and his helpers will be parading on his sleigh all the way to the Christmas Village, where gifts will be given to children.

There will also be a children’s drawing area and traditional Maltese games on the promenade on Wednesday from noon till 3 p.m.

Other activities for children will include animated stilt walkers, a fairy, a jumping elf and a snow queen on Thursday from 6 p.m. and a storytelling session with Father Christmas on Boxing Day from 11 a.m.
