10.30 a.m. The President receives opposition leader Joseph Muscat at San Anton Palace, Attard.

11.30 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from San Francisco consul Louis Vella at San Anton Palace.

Noon The President is presented with a donation in aid ofL-Istrina by members of the Alfred Mizzi Foundation at San Anton Palace.

12.30 p.m. The President is presented with an art book entitled Joseph Casha fantasy and reality by sculptor Joseph Casha at San Anton Palace.

7 p.m. The President presides over the Meritorious Historian Award ceremony at San Anton Palace on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the Malta Historical Society.

Tuesday

7.10 p.m. The President kicksoff Gowl għall-Istrina at theHibernians Stadium.

Thursday

11.30 a.m. The President visits Sir Paul Boffa Hospital inFloriana.

2 p.m. The President is presented with CDs entitledSur la Route des Orgues de Malte by French Ambassador Daniel Rondeau at San Anton Palace.

6.25 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend the Nine Lessons and Carols service, organised by the Anglican Church at St Paul’s Pro-Cathedral, Valletta.

Friday

11.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend Midnight Mass atSan Anton Palace.

Sunday

11 a.m. The President inaugurates the Thomas Smith charity swim in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund at Tower Road, Sliema.

Noon The President and Mrs Abela preside over L-Istrina marathon at the Lufthansa Technik premises, Ħal Farruġ.
