Calleja’s Christmas carol

Tenor Joseph Calleja has helped raise €81,200 towards the completion of the Divine Mercy Sanctuary in San Pawl tat-Tarġa.

The tenor presented the donation to rector Fr Michael Agius after a charity concert at the sanctuary with soprano Miriam Cauchi on Friday night, during which several Christmas carols were performed.

Mr Calleja also presented Archbishop Paul Cremona with donations for 15 families in need.
