Six hurt in Parliament punch-up
Six members of Ukraine's parliament have been admitted to hospital after a fight.
Politicians from President Viktor Yanukovych's Party of Regions stormed the parliament podium last night after it had been blocked by legislators from former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko's party protesting about a corruption investigation against her.
Scuffles broke out and Ms Tymoshenko's party said six members of parliament sustained serious injuries, including concussion, a fractured jaw and multiple bruises.
Four of the injured members were still in hospital today.
The Party of Regions confirmed the fight and said its members were not injured. It said pro-Tymoshenko members had started fights in the legislature in the past.
Scuffles are frequent in the Ukrainian parliament, but yesterday's was the most violent.

Well, there you have it, a Parliament turned into boxing ring !!
Just as a sidenote here but the great American businessman called Herb Kelleher had some rather innovative and creative ways at solving eye to eye business disputes with his competitors. One of which was a famous arm wrestle at a packed Dallas arena in Texas, involving a legal right dispute over the slogan "Just Plane Smart" with Kurt Herwald !! Kelleher lost but won the hearts of all those present !! So there you have male parliamentarians of the Ukraine, there are other much more civil alternatives to punch ups !!
