Some 300 workers were this morning evacuated from their offices following an anonymous telephone call at the police headquarters in Floriana saying that a bomb had been planted at the offices of Valletta Fund Management in Mriehel.

The police informed VFM and the company's employees, together with those of Deloitte and Forestals, were evacuated.

Army bomb disposal experts searched the building while the workers are gathered outside and the all clear was given at around 12.20 p.m.
