A worker looks out of the head of a giant sculpture in the Ruhr valley in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The 18-metre Hercules by Germany’s most famous contemporary artist Markus Luepertz will be placed 80 metres high on top of a former coal mine head frame. The new landmark is part of the European Capital of Culture RUHR.2010.
