Like Frank Mizzi of Sliema (Patience That Paid Off, December 7) I too have been in contact with Jacqueline Pace about the family allowance cheque since September 13 but in my case without success.

I agree that Ms Pace is an asset as she is very polite and answers e-mails immediately but three months is rather a long time. I do not know if it is ARMS to blame or the government. If the latter they should take Ms Pace over to help them out to stop people complaining about them! We need many more efficient employees like Ms Pace.
