The third edition of Bethlehem f’Għajnsielem was inaugurated by Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi last week at Ta’ Passi. The St Joseph Band played Christmas carols at 10th December Square, while animators entered the nativity village in a pageant-style procession. Dr Gonzi was shown around the village by Għajnsielem mayor Francis Cauchi and project manager Franco Ciangura. The village will remain open until January 2. It will be animated on all weekends and public holidays.
