Farmers are to sell produce outside the Pitkali vegetable market tomorrow after a court issued a warrant of prohibitory injunction requested by five farmers who said the market could not open on a public holiday.

The Resources Ministry said the Pitkali vegetable market was being precluded from opening on Monday and reserved the right to sue for damages.

Meanwhile, the Ta’Qali Producers’ Group said that Monday would be a normal market day.

"Besides their normal members, all farmers and hawkers are welcome to make use of their services from 6.30 a.m. onwards," it said.
