The meeting focused on bilateral relations, migration, the Middle East and the EU-Libya Framework Agreement.

There is scope for copoeration between Malta and the UK within the European Union especially on issues such as the ever-increasing Union's budget, and the creeping but constant encroachment on national sovereignity.
