A plaque was recently unveiled at Floriana primary school, marking the involvement of Rotary Club La Valette in supporting three nurture groups which are also functioning within Senglea, Vittoriosa and Cospicua primary schools.
The plaque was unveiled in the presence of the chairman of the school governors and a number of parents.
The nurture groups have been provided with special-ist educational resources and provide a safe, home-like environment where children can feel secure.
Rotary Club La Valette is part of the worldwide Rotary movement. Having 45 members, the club was founded nine years ago, and has been involved in local and international projects.
