Nadur school awarded Green Flag

Nadur primary school was recently awarded the Green Flag Award during the annual Ekoskola seminar held at Sannat primary.

The school’s Ekoskola committee is mostly made up of children and also includes members of staff and the local community. The committee strives to promote green environmental and healthy habits for all the school community. In June 2009, the school was awarded a silver award.

The Green Flag was raised at school for the first time last Wednesday.

The event also included a children’s programme and a healthy eating activity.
