Go is teaming up with the organisers of Teatru Unplugged to present the 13th edition of the spectacular annual concert series that has become one of the Manoel Theatre’s top selling shows.
The Go Teatru Unplugged will run between tomorrow and Sunday. This annual live concert fuses rock, pop and alternative performances.
Franco Aloisio, Go’s senior manager, communications and marketing, said the sponsorship was in line with the company’s drive towards playing an effective role in promoting local arts and culture and encouraging the participation and appreciation of such art forms among the public.
“The main success is our simple and original formula of having short diverse acts in one show. We keep the show fresh by inviting a variety of new and well-loved acts to take part each year. The concert’s innovative format with six short and diverse sets ensures a great night out to the audience,” said co-producer Jonathan Shaw.
This year’s line-up features Megan Balzan accompanied by Rosetta de Battista, local band Beige, Chasing Pandora, London based band Fraser, The Renzo Spiteri Terra Project with Peter Grech on vocals and, a first in 13 years of Teatru Unplugged, a choir The Blast! The show will be compered by Fakawi frontman Pawlu Borg Bonaci.
All concerts start at 8 p.m.
