New partnership for 6pm

6pm Holdings plc has initiated negotiations to crystallise its business partnership with the Estonian-born company Webmedia Group, an international software and system integration company.

Webmedia Group was founded in 2000 and has grown over 80 per cent per year. This remarkable growth places the company among the fastest-growing technology companies in the Europe, Middle East and Africa. Webmedia specialises in eHealth Solutions and has been responsible for the development and implementation of the reputed Estonian eHealthcare solution.

The company also provides leading solutions for eGovernment, public finance and ePolice. Webmedia Group has been involved with the development and implementation of an eGovernment portal for Qatar as well as the implementation of an Advanced Vehicle Location system for Telcel in Mexico.

Once formalised, the new contract will not only allow 6pm and Webmedia Group to represent each other’s products, but also includes plans to jointly penetrate the Libyan market and set up R&D and Software development facilities in Malta.

“This is a strategic alliance that fits in perfectly with 6pm’s business vision. We are pleased to team up with a company with the reputation of Webmedia Group. This will put us in a position to provide added value to the solutions we provide to our customers especially those within the Health Sector,” Ivan Bartolo, executive director, 6pm Holdings plc said.

6pm is an established IT solutions company specialising in information management, business intelligence and document management. 6pm Holdings plc was floated on the Malta Stock Exchange in September 2007. Information about 6pm’s products and services can be found at www.6pmplc.com
