Dennis Christensen, a Danish high-performance coach, is presently conducting a seven-day training camp in Malta.

Organised by Badminton Malta with the backing of the Confederation of Mediterranean Badminton (COMEBA) as well as Badminton Europe, this training course is primarily intended for the association’s better junior players and their respective coaches.

The training sessions are being held every day, mainly at the Cottonera Sports Complex and at St Aloysius College.

Every session integrates theoretical and practical aspects so that participants can assimilate the latest technical and tactical knowhow about the game.

During this intensive course, Christensen is focusing mainly on footwork and on deceptive strokes.

The Danish coach will also visit several local schools in order to promote Badminton among the students as well as to assist and train the respective PE teachers.

Badminton Malta (BM) expressed its satisfaction at the high level of training Christensen is providing to the participants of this training camp.

It stressed its commitment to provide its better players and coaches with future similar opportunities to further develop their playing and coaching standards.

BM also expressed its gratitude to COMEBA as well as to Badminton Europe for their valuable support.
