Obituary
AGIUS. On November 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, SALLY née Mizzi, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her children Mariella and her husband Mario, Paul and his wife Graziella, Victor, Claudia, her beloved grandchildren Michael and Elisa, her brother Alfred Mizzi and his wife Carmen, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but prayers and donations to the Carmelite Mission Fund Balluta and to the Hospice Movement will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Gynae Ward of Mater Dei Hospital for their care and dedication.
AZZOPARDI. On November 27, at Villa Messina, VIRGINIA, widow of Joseph, passed away peacefully at the age of 98. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her daughter Marquita and her husband Stuart Craig, her daughter Eileen and her husband Albert Leone Ganado, her son Peter widower of the late Anna née Diacono, her daughter Nancy and her husband Joseph D. Camilleri, her grandchildren Gordon and Audrey, Alan and Sharon, Tim, Steve and Julie, Andrew and Roberta, Simon, Ninia, Michael and Matthew, and her great-grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Messina for their care and support.
FARRUGIA. Josephine, of Ħamrun, 87, widow of Joseph, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church on November 28 at Rose Ville Home, Attard. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Raymond and his wife Elizabeth, Victor and his wife Therese, George and his wife MaryRose, MaryAnne and her husband Raymond, Monica, Rita and her husband Brian, Paul and his wife Carmen, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Rose Ville Home tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for St Cajetan’s parish church, Ħamrun where Mass will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
TESTA. On November 27, JOSEPH, widower of Rose née Micallef, passed away peacefully at Casa Antonia, Balzan, aged 94, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his sisters Antonia, widow of Paul Miceli, Rose and her husband Joseph Zammit, Edwidge, widow of his brother John, his wife’s family, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated today at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery followed by interment in the family grave. No flowers by request but donations to charitable institutions will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
