The type of homes suitable for people with disabilities will be discussed during a national conference on supported living next week.

The conference will launch a consultation process on the national policy for supported living and standards of living for disabled people. It will explore the realities faced by people with disabilities, identify the support structures in place and outline what else needs to be done in the field.

The conference is organised by the National Commission Persons with Disability as part of a series of activities to raise awareness on disability.

It will be take place on Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Phoenicia Hotel in Floriana.
