Wedding bells

The wedding took place on November 7 between James Abdilla, son of Victor and Miriam Abdilla of Kappara, and Janice Farrugia, daughter of Anthony and Maria Farrugia of Msida. Mass at St Joseph parish church, Msida, was celebrated by the groom’s uncle, Fr Richard Ebejer. The ceremony was witnessed bythe groom’s uncle Nigel Cassar and by the bride’s aunt Carmen Friggieri. The duties of bestman were carried out by the bride’s uncle Charles Busuttil. The bride was attended by her cousin Diane Ellul, who was matron of honour. The groom’s sister, Arielle Abdilla, was bridesmaid and Kristina Maria Friggieri and Nicola Friggieri were flower girls, while Ian Michael Ellul was the ring bearer. The bride’s cousin Warren Deguara, Luke Friggieri, Karl Friggieri and Duncan Friggieri were ushers. A reception was held later at Villa Mdina, Naxxar. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Las Vegas and cruising the Caribbean.
