Boy, 7 critically injured in Chadwick Lakes fall
A seven-year-old boy was critically injured this afternoon when he fell a height of some five metres while walking at Chadwick Lakes.
The accident happened at 3.35 p.m.
The boy, who is from Zebbug, was walking on a low wall when he fell into the water course, landing on mud and rocks. He suffered severe head injuries.
He was rescued by Civil Protection Department personnel and given first aid by a medical team before being rushed to hospital.
The police said he is in danger of dying.
