Malta Dairy Products Ltd (MDP) recently adopted the Green Dot trademark across its full range of Benna milk cartons and yogurt products.
There are currently more than 300 companies signed up with the Green Pak waste recovery scheme. These use the Green Dot trademark as a sign of their contribution towards the cost of recovery and recycling of materials put on the market.
Around 130,000 companies across Europe recover or recycle their waste under the Green Dot umbrella.
The Green Dot trademark appears on the packaging of approximately 460 billion items worldwide.
Benna is also extending its support to Green Dot by participating in the ‘Reward, Reuse, Recycle’ campaign, which rewards residents who recycle their waste through door-to-door collections or by disposing their separated waste in one of Green Pak’s recycling banks.
Representatives from Green Pak have also randomly been giving out free gifts to residents who follow the campaign.
