A man and woman were arrested after the police found about three kilos of cannabis resin in the man’s possession and at his Lija residence.

The arrest of the 25-year-old man was made on Thursday evening in Żebbuġ following a surveillance operation by the police.

The woman, 21, also of Lija, was held in connection with the find.

Duty Magistrate Edwina Grima appointed several experts to help conduct an inquiry.
