Joelle Cortis, who was recently crowned Miss Malta, running during the first stage of the Malta Challenge Marathon, yesterday. Ms Cortis finished second in the 11.1km leg in Rabat with a time of 47 minutes 42 seconds. Romania’s Hiroko Ogawa won yesterday’s stage in 47 minutes nine seconds.
