For the information of Keith Zahra, communications coordinator at the Finance Ministry (A Government That Does Really Care, November 19), I sent a letter to ARMS Ltd customer care on August 21 asking them why I had not received my energy allowance cheque as I felt that my family was entitled to it. I have received no reply whatsoever.
I sent another letter to Enemalta and did not even receive an acknowledgement. On September 5, I wrote to the Department of Information and Office of the Prime Minister who referred my complaint to the Water Services Corporation.
I was promised a reply shortly but have still not received one. I took the case to the Office of the Ombudsman and on November 2 was informed that I have a right to the allowance and that the senior administrator at ARMS had been sent a copy of their letter. I have still not received anything from ARMS.
How is that for a government that really cares Mr Zahra?
