Some years ago, In the planning of MCAST, I had researched and found that in Malta we had not enough qualified TEACHERS OF TECHNOLOGY and they were NEVER formally produced in Malta. I commenced a suitable course but was not satisfied with the contact hours the Faculty of Education allowed me for the CORE SUBJECTS, them preferring too much Pedagogy, Methodology and Philosophy of Teaching, so I closed the course. Meanwhile with the present government, the Services industry in Malta were being preferred to Manufacturing Industries and repair industries, as the Dockyard, so as a joke I told my last “ Teachers of Technology Course about 10 years ago” I am going to close this course and start a course for sex teachers and prostitutes where the Faculty of Education would teach the Theory and Philosophy of Sex and the Faculty of Engineering with, I being the Director, would handle the Practical Core subject in suitable "Educational Workshops", but the Engineering Type using tools and not the Faculty of Education Type using discussions.
My students published all this in the students’ magazine, and I tell you some students were interested! in becoming sex teachers not prostitutes or hores!
