The medical condition of former Prime Minister Dom Mintoff remains stable, Mater Dei Hospital said today.

He is still undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in the hospital's Critical Coronary Care Unit.

Mr Mintoff, 94, was admitted on November 10 suffering from heart failure and dehydration. This was his second admission in less than two months.

He was helped out of his bed last week.
