The MFCC at Ta’ Qali will be transformed into a large inflatable obstacle course today for Inspire’s largest fund-raising initiative of the year.

Based on the BBC TV programme similar to Italy’s Giochi Senza Frontiere, local companies, clubs and organisations have formed teams to take part in the entertaining Graham Fisher’s International It’s A Knockout to raise funds for Inspire.

Għinna Ngħinu ’10 will showcase Inspire’s success stories over the past year, giving viewers an insight into how the voluntary organisation is helping people achieve their full potential regardless of their ability.

As an organisation which depends on voluntary income, Inspire’s annual telethon is critical to its sustainability. Inspire provides several services, most of which are free or at minimal charge.

The funds raised from this event will go towards their services and programmes ensuring they continue making headway in improving the quality of lives of people with disabilities.

The event will take place between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. and will be aired live on all major TV stations.

Various personalities will be encouraging viewers to contribute as best they can through phone and SMS donation lines.
