Web solutions provider Icon is furthering its investment in product and technical innovation, research and development and additional human resources with the intention of expanding locally and overseas.
To mark its 10th anniversary celebrations and the company’s commitment to innovation, Icon (www.icon.com.mt) has launched a new application Icon.travel.
This provides companies operating in the travel industry with an integrated web product that streamlines operations and allows services to be offered online.
During a visit by Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi to Icon’s offices in San Ġwann last Thursday, directors Gege Gatt and Ian Castillo spoke about the three focal areas oftheir business: research and development, product innovation and human resource capital, and their plans to ensure they venture beyond Maltese shores.
With an employee headcount of 25, the company is continuing to grow, having opened a satellite office in Milan.
The company’s web development, business developmentand core projects teams have also been expanded to enable the company to achieve its main commercial objective of deploying two to three new products a year, thus diversifying into different fields.
