The seasonal influenza vaccine will be made available free of charge to members of the public from the age of six months upwards, the Health Ministry said yesterday.

It will be administered from all health centres between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., except for the Birkirkara health centre where it will be available till 1 p.m.

The Health Division stressed the importance of taking the vaccine especially for children, the elderly and those suffering from chronic diseases.
