A delegation from the Malta Developers' Association called for consistency in Mepa decision-making during a visit to the Mepa offices yesterday.

The MDA said that several subjects of mutual interest were discussed, including proposals on staggering of payments of the new MEPA tariff structure, and the association’s concerns about the need to avoid uncertainties in MEPA policies and to ensure consistency in the resolution of development applications.

It was agreed that meetings between MEPA and MDA on specific issues are to be held in the future.

Michael Falzon led the MDA association which Austin Walker, Mepa chairman, led the Mepa officials.
