The toll in Haiti from cholera has soared to 724, an increase of more than 80 deaths overnight including three more in the capital Port-au-Prince, health officials said last Thursday. The total number of infections was now above 11,000, a rise of more than 1,000 from last Wednesday’s figures, the Haitian health ministry announced.
