A heart-shaped formation of L-Istrina piggy banks took centre stage at the Paola Primary School’s playground yesterday when First Lady Margaret Abela visited the school as part of the Bank of Valletta Piggy Bank Campaign. The yearly campaign, launched in October, saw the distribution of over 5,000 piggy banks in classrooms around Malta to raise funds for L-Istrina, which will be aired on local TV stations on Boxing Day.
