A model posing with a 24.78 carat fancy intense pink diamond during a Sotheby’s auction preview in Geneva, yesterday. The rare pink diamond mounted on a ring that comes from a private collection is valued at up to €28 million and will go on sale on Tuesday. The gemstone, rated among a type that accounts for just two per cent of diamonds, was last seen on the market about 60 years ago when it was sold by legendary US jeweller Harry Winston.
