Henri Portelli writes:

Stefano was known to everyone who knew him personally above all as a caring person who never had a bad word to say about anyone, even about those who he felt had betrayed him in some way. He was a devoted father and a loving brother.

I knew Stefano since the day he was born. He was a jovial and happy child who was always ready with a smile and a hug. His big, bright, wide eyes always inquisitive and ready to ask: Why Henri?

His passion was always for all things mechanical, especially cars, and from the age of three he was capable of recognising all the different makes and models, even from just the back lights and at a distance. He recently became interested in aviation and joined Lufthansa Technik where he spent his last few working months making new friends and learning new skills. As always, he took to his new trade like a duck takes to water.

His passing away has left a huge void in all his family and all those who loved him which will take time to heal, although the scar will remain for all of us.

The family joins me in thanking all those who in one way or another conveyed their sympathies and shared in our sorrow on his passing away.

Lord grant him eternal peace, he deserves it.
