GAP Developers plc has promoted the multi-awarded Fort Cambridge in Shanghai.

GAP held a series of meetings with large corporations which resulted in interesting business leads for the project as well as for the Maltese market, the company said.

The developers of the Sliema project said delegations from China are expected to visit Fort Cambridge in the coming months.

“With foreigners having already acquired over 50 per cent of the available residences, our focused and well planned foreign marketing strategy has continued to increase demand from the four corners of the globe. This is a further testament to Fort Cambridge’s overall qualities,” GAP director Paul Attard said.

Fort Cambridge comprises 341 residential units of which 67 per cent have already been sold. The development is now in its final stages and on target for completion by the second half of 2011.

In the latest construction developments, work has moved on to the 13th floor of the east block; the finishing of the south block has now reached the ninth floor.
