Banif Bank partners Malta Institute of Accountants

Banif Bank and the Malta Institute of Accountants have signed a collaboration agreement in relation to the 2010 conference entitled The Accountant: Evolving World Evolving Role.

This year’s conference, on December 2 and 3 will analyse the way the accountant’s role has evolved and how it should develop for the profession to remain relevant in the present and upcoming scenarios.

“This collaboration agreement reaffirms our commitment to be an active player in the market and to support important initiatives that can add value to the local community. We believe that Banif can make a valid contribution at all levels of the economy from employees to professionals like accountants and auditors,” Banif Bank (Malta) plc CEO Joaquim F. Silva Pinto said.

This biennial conference attracts high profile speakers from overseas and the local financial business sector, and has become an important activity in the MIA’s calendar of events.

Banif Bank’s CEO has accepted to participate in one of the discussion panels which shall be discussing the perception of accountants from the point of view of other professions.
