Air Malta to make five weekly flights to Milan

Air Malta will include flights to the heart of Milan this Christmas as it launches a new route to Linate Airport on December 1.

To celebrate the introduction of the new route, Air Malta is offering clients a special fare starting from €79 per passenger.

The flights to and from Linate will be operated every Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The airport is situated about seven kilometres east of Milan, just a 20-minute bus or cab ride from the city centre.

Linate was mainly used for domestic and European short-haul flights, Air Malta said, and provided an excellent land connection with Milan and to other places of interest in Italy. The airport is complimented with a bus service that goes straight to the central railway station of Milan allowing for swifter connections to various areas within the region and the rest of the country.

Air Malta’s introductory offer includes the return ticket and all applicable taxes and charges. It is valid for travel before March 26, 2011 and reservations and ticketing must be made by November 30. Certain conditions may apply.
