Week of activities at YWCA Malta

YWCA recently organised a conference entitled Week Without Violence at Europa House, Valletta.

Antoinette Gatt Rutter spoke about the care and support which is vital for women who survive acts of domestic violence. Odette Chetcuti discussed the issue of dealing with mental harassment at work. She emphasised the importance of seeking professional assistance in such situations.

The conference ended with a poem about peace recited by Sahe Wayne.

YWCA recently celebrated its fifth anniversary and the second anniversary since the official opening of their Msida premises.

To commemorate the event, Mass was celebrated by Mgr Charles Cordina at the Tal-Kunċizzjoni Church Msida.
