The Pope’s encyclical and Gozo’s social and economic development

An evening conference on Pope Benedict’s encyclical Caritas in Veritate and its relevance to Gozo’s social and economic development is being held at the Calypso Hotel, Marsalforn, on November 15 at 6 p.m.

The conference, organised by the Malta Chapter of Pontefice Foundation in collaboration with the Gozo Business Chamber and the Gozo Tourism Association, will focus on a number of themes from the encyclical – a vision of a modern socio-economic world where business is not only about self- interest but takes into consideration all stakeholders who contribute to the life of the business. Morality and values need to be an integral part of the way business is set up and run.

Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will address the audience.
