A group of 14 students from the University of Malta Junior College recently went on a week-long trip to Verona as part of a cultural exchange with the Istituto Tecnico Commerciale in Verona.
The students, accompanied by Christine Farrugia and Riccardo Flask, visited the Roman theatre and arena, as well as the Romeo and Juliet house.
The group also visited Sirmione, where they enjoyed views of Lake Garda. They toured the city of Mantova and visited Palazzo Te, and they especially enjoyed a trip to the Gardaland amusement park.
The group then visited Venice, where they explored the narrow streets and posed for photos on Ponte Rialto.
The students had the opportunity to attend the Sagra del Riso fair, where they tasted some of the local delicacies, and they were also invited into the town hall.
The trip was organised by the Junior College Eurocentre.
